Family Hogmanay Ceilidh

Looking for a family friendly Hogmanay party?

Join us in our Orchardfield Suite for a fabulous night of entertainment, dancing and of course, delicious food!

Ticket price includes a welcome drink, three course menu, half bottle of wine per person with four course menu and Ceilidh entertainment throughout the evening. Bring in the bells together as a family and enjoy a hot toddy for adults or hot chocolate and marshmallows for children.

Celebrate Hogmanay with SKYBar

There really is no better place to celebrate Hogmanay in Edinburgh. Bring in the new year in the most memorable way by enjoying the party of the year in our SKYbar Edinburgh.

Enjoy the countdown to 2025 with great music and the best panoramic views of Edinburgh’s glistening skyline.

Seating is not reserved on the night, available on a first come first served basis. SKYBar will be set up with a mixture of sofas, armchairs, high bar tables and windows seats as well as our outdoor seated balcony area.

Exclusive Use SKYBar Christmas Day Lunch

Experience the ultimate Christmas Day lunch with exclusive use of the SKYBar to host your guests. Wow your guests with the spectacular views of the city skyline. You will be greeted with a champagne and canapé reception whilst you relax and take in the views. Then you get to play host as you indulge in a six- course Christmas Lunch, with the option to choose your preferred roast joint for the centre piece of the day. We will serve it whole to the table for you to carve as the host, with all the traditional trimmings served family service.

Terms and Conditions
Provisional bookings for all Sharer Parties, Christmas Day Lunch and Hogmanay will be held for 14 days. To confirm a £10 deposit per person is required within this period. Full payment for all events is then required four weeks before the event.
For Private Parties and the Exclusive use SKYbar Christmas Day Lunch contract terms will apply. A 10% deposit is required within 14 days of booking. A further payment of 50% is required 3 months prior to your event. Finally, full payment is required 4 weeks prior to the event taking place, failure to pay in advance may result in your event being cancelled.
If you need to cancel your booking you must inform the hotel in writing. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once full payment is made, in the event that you need to cancel your booking, no refund will be given.
If your booking is not confirmed with full payment, 4 weeks prior to the event, the hotel reserves the right to release your booking and the hotel will be entitled to retain your deposit in full.
We regret that should your party size decrease in numbers (including non-arrivals) payments (including deposits) cannot be offset against any aspect of the event – such as food, beverage or accommodation.
All prices shown are inclusive of VAT however may be subject to changes of rate and any other relevant taxes or levies at the current prevailing rate in force on the date of the event.
In the unlikely event that the hotel is obliged to cancel the function for any reason, all monies will be refunded or an alternative date offered, without liability to the hotel.
We reserve the right to vary, amend or cancel any of the arrangements or the facilities featured in this brochure should we find an alteration necessary.

SEATING ARRANGEMENTS
Groups of 12 guests or more will normally be catered for on more than 1 table. Any special requests with regards to the seating arrangements of your party must be discussed with the Christmas Coordinator prior to the event. The size of the tables will vary according to the configuration of all groups attending and at all times the hotel will decide on the most suitable layout for the event.

GENERAL TERMS

Children under 18 years old are not admitted to evening events except for the Family Hogmanay Event.
No additional food or beverage of any kind from outside the venue is permitted into the hotel by any guests.
Dress code for all Christmas events is smart casual – no trainers.
The customer shall be responsible for any damage caused to rooms, furnishings and equipment therein by any act, default or neglect of the customer or guests of the customer and will be required to reimburse the full amount to make good or remedy any such damage.
Some of our menu items may contain allergens. However all dietary requirements can be catered for. Please discuss this with your Christmas Coordinator.
To the best of our knowledge, none of our food contains ingredients produced from genetically modified soya /maize.
A pre-order is required two weeks in advance for all private events, shared parties and bookings of 6 or more in Monboddo or Bread Street Brasserie. Chef’s choice applies where no pre-order is received.
For Christmas Day in Bread Street Brasserie, we respectfully ask you to return the table three hours after the confirmed booking time.
Special accommodation rates are subject to availability and require a £10 deposit at the time of booking. For 10 bedrooms or more you will be required to sign a group booking contract and full terms and conditions will apply. Bookings must be secured by a credit/debit card and fully prepaid with the final balance paid no later than 4 weeks prior to the event.
